Some time ago, I have found that my personal website began to be a little outdated and I wanted to refactor it to lay the ground for new experiments. 👨🔬
One of these experiments was to start a personal blog, a place where I could freely write and mostly, deepen some things that I want to know or to remember better. And, if my thoughts can benefit other people around the world, it would be a nice add-on. ✨
My website is still a work in progress (WIP), but I should have made it public some time ago, even if it was not perfect. It is never too late, so today is the day. 🥳 You still may find some inconsistencies, as I have not finished yet transferring some functionalities from my previous website and my other blog, Ma maison Sherby. Everything should be fixed before the next Hacktoberfest. 😇
Themes
I have not decided yet on the themes of my blog, but I think they will be mostly around Web Technologies / Development and self-improvement.
I chose specifically not to stick to only one theme, as some content of other themes can be beneficial to myself and others if someone out there is reading my posts. 😂
Language
Even if I am a native French speaker and English is my second language, I choose to write in English to improve my writing skills in this language. Since I am not fluent as I would like, I may make some grammatical errors, so feel free to reach me if I have made such mistakes. 😉
As my CMS, Ghost 👻, doesn't offer in its latest version a native translation system, I choose to put aside, for now, to translate my posts into French and to make a 100% bilingual website. I will maybe choose to tackle this challenge in some months after I have finished polishing the internal code of my website. 😋
